This wonderful solid Blue whippet was ranked a notable 2nd on the Whippet Club of Victoria Puppy Point Score. His wins include 1st Puppy Dog at the Royal Melbourne Show 2003 under renowned Specialist judge, Mr Desmond Murphy (USA). As well as winning many of his classes, he won “Best Opposite Puppy In Show” at the 2003 Whippet Association of Victoria’s Annual Open Show.
In a thrilling placement at our 1st National Whippet Specialty Show 2004, ‘Monte’ took 2nd Intermediate Dog, in a very strong class. Judged by the International Whippet authority, Mr Magnus Hagstedt (of the renowned ‘SIGNUM’ Whippets in Sweden), his black brother ‘Gabbo’ – took 3rd Intermediate Dog in the same class!
Mr Hagstedt’s crtitique states “Balanced angulation, depth and curves. Free movement. Excellent substance and elegance”. An extremely impressive accomplishment for a solid coloured whippet amongst leading, nation-wide competition
