‘Elvira’ is a gorgeous solid black with white trim born 31st June 2004. She is sired by the beautiful import ‘Broom’ and is out of our solid black foundation bitch ‘Vida’, bred by Gian Zovi.
After only having been shown four times, she won a Hound Specilaty Show “Best of Breed” under Specialist judge Mr W Usherwood (USA) and was in the ’short-list’ of 8 for “Best In Show” (under an international French judge). This was at the Hound Club of Victoria ‘Golden Jubilee’ Specialty Show, with a record entry including 75 of the leading whippets from all over the country.
Her sisiter ‘Emilia’ - Ibiza Viva Valdessa has also only been shown on a limited basis, yet she has been winning many of her classes and beyond taking “Best Junior In Group”, she went on to take “Best Junior In Show” at a 2-day weekend, All-Breeds Championship Show in Horsham under judge Mrs Dianne Besoff (NSW). Emilia’s first “Best of Breed” was from the Junior class, at a large 3-show weekend in Newcastle, judged by Mr Anderson (New Zealand). Their black brindle brother ‘Zorro’ - Ibiza Viva Espania took the “Dog Challenge Certificate” at the same show.
