‘Zorro’ is a solid black brindle with a black mask and white trim. He’s a strong yet elegant whippet born on 31st June 2004 and is sired by the beautiful import ‘Broom’, out of our foundation, solid black bitch ‘Vida’, bred by Gian Zovi.
He has been winning many of his classes and made an early impact taking young Class “In Group”, and a Reserve Challenge from the Puppy class under Breed Specialist judge, Mr Tony Kyman ‘Talkabout’ Whippets. Even his first “Dog Challenge Certificate” was from the Junior class, at a large 3-show weekend in Newcastle, under Mr Anderson (New Zealand). His sister ‘Emilia’ took “Best of Breed” at the same show.
Zorro won “Best Opposite Puppy In Show” at the Sydney Specialty Show 2005 and also placed in his Class at the Royal Melbourne Show 2005.
Sisiter ‘Elvira’ – Ibiza Viva La Vida, a beautiful solid black and ‘Emilia’ – Ibiza Viva Valdessa a lovely solid blue are both doing very well in thier limited show careers, with respective Hound Specilaty “Best of Breed” and All-Breeds Championship “Best Junior In Show” awards.
