The much beloved ‘Nikie’ is the first pup born, of our very first litter (“ROYAL” theme) arriving on the 14th of April 2003. She quickly became my most adored homebred whippet and my constant, closest companion.
Nikie’s a Black masked, Fawn “sable” with White trim and blaze (like the “Nike” logo). Her blood-lines are dominated by ‘Statue’ - UK Aust Ch Dondelayo Statue (imp UK).
She won “Best Puppy In Group” in her second show, under Whippet Specialist Judge, Mr Bill Godfrey, of ‘Spaceline’ kennels, shown superbly by Ms Lana McCrindle Aslan whilst on her visit from Queensland. Being a sable/grizzle coloured fawn, Nikie was only shown under specialist judges till Junior class, as few seem to value a whippet of this unique colouring.
Her sister ‘Trinity’ – Ibiza Royal Miss Trinity is co-owned and exclusively shown by Karen Francis Royaloak north of Sydney and has taken several classes “In Group” and “In Show” awards under international judges.
