Our new solid black ‘Rosso’ is from the ‘MAROULA’ Litter and arrived on the 3rd of October 2006. It’s our first litter from our home-bred, black & white bitch ‘Effie’, a ‘Broom’ & ‘Vida’ daughter.
He has already a “Challenge Certificate” under a sighthound specialist judge and several “Reserve Dog Challenges Certificates” (initially from the Minor Puppy Class!). ‘Rosso’ won “1st Baby Puppy Class” in a stong class at the NSW Whippet Specialty Show in Sydney and went on to win “Ops Baby Puppy In Show”. ‘Rosso’ placed 2nd Puppy Dog at the Royal Sydney Easter Show 2007 (in a class of 10 entries) with glowing compliments from the Norwegian judge!
We are very grateful to Malin Westlie (Macawe Whippets, Sweden) as she has been an admirer of our ‘Effie’ since she was a pup and suggested this litter; also being a fan of ‘Cruiser’ the solid brindle sire from America.
We also sincerely thank ‘Cruiser’s co-owners, Molly Rule-Steele (Taejaan) in Albury & Ulla Greenwood (Piaffe) in Queensland.
