“Maria’ is a solid blue brindle and is quite a darling. Born 21st July 2004, she’s sired by the beautiful import ‘Broom’ and is out of Allen Anderson’s “Best In Show” winning ‘Nikki’. Maria has the most adoring nature and is a gentle, yet very playful and fun-loving whippet.
Not shown at all because of a foot injury when she was a pup, she became the ‘couch-potato’ that whippets are renowned for; yet when it’s time to exercise, she loves to run around and still manages to maintain the physique of a well defined athlete.
Her brother ‘Strider’ – Aust Ch Ibiza Callas Soprano is doing very well in the show ring and has been winning most of his classes including “1st Junior Dog” at a Royal Show, qualifying him for CRUFTS 2006 in the UK! You can see more details at Our Show Wins
