The long awaited litter from our black foundation bitch ‘Vida’ arrived on the 30th of June 2004, having 7 pups by the English import ‘Broom’, bred by Emma North-Row in Ireland.
Vida’s father is ‘Rocky’ – Bellendene Galahad which is the famous solid black whippet that dominates all my coloured breeding. Vida & Rocky’s very outgoing, unique character and wonderful loving personality was reflected in this litter.
The “VIVA” pups have already won “Best Junior In Show”, multiple “Classes In Group”, ‘Challenge Certificates’ &/or “Best of Breed” awards, under sighthound and overseas specialist judges, with highlights including:
‘Emilia - Ibiza Viva Valdessa, a solid blue winning “Best Junior In Show” (co-owner Maria Millikan)
‘Elvira’ – Ibiza Viva La Vida, our Junior solid black won a Specialty “Best of Breed” over 75 whippets
‘Zorro’ - Ibiza Viva Espania, won “Best Ops Minor Puppy In Show” at the Sydney Specialty 2005

We had a diversely coloured litter with; 3 solid blacks ‘Elvis’ – Las Vegas, ‘Ibi’ – Iberias & ‘Elvira’ – La Vida, 2 blues ‘Emilia’ – Valdessa & ‘Tabatha’ – Valanidas, a black masked solid brindle ‘Zorro’ – Espania and a black & white ‘Effie’ – La Differance, who we plan to mate to Molly Rule Steele’s American import ‘Cruzer’ – Am & Aust Ch Countrywinds Whoze Ever (imp US).
