Congratulations to all winners, especially our friends Helen & David Veless winning ‘Runner-Up to Best In Show’ with our favourite Basenji – ‘Sunny’, under sighthound and esteemed breed specialist judge – Mrs Doreen Duffin.
Helen told us that she felt elated to have won under such a forerunner in the Basenji breed; an insipring ‘mentor’ figure that she has looked-up to for some time. Mrs Duffin also judged Whippets and awarded our new black brindle pup ‘Venus’ Ibiza Aphrodite All Mighty best ‘Minor Puppy In Group’ and our parti brindle ‘Rosie’ Bellendene Rosetta won her very strong Open class, beating an English Champion import, as well as a multi “Best In Show” winning bitch!! Rosie was really enjoying herself and performed well, securing a nice win under a sighthound specialist.

Congratulations to Molly Rule-Steele & the ‘Taejaan’ gals for their “Best In Show” win with ‘BRONTE’ – Aust Grand Ch TAEJAAN BUTTERFLY EFFECT (Am Aust Ch Countrywinds Whoze Ever X Aust Ch Taejaan Blissfully Blond) at our Whippet Specialty Show here in Victoria, Australia. “Runner Up” to Best In Show was ‘Carson’ – Aust Ch Marchpast the Emblem (imp UK)
‘Carson’ (above) is daddy to our solid black ‘Bettina’ – Ibiza O Black Betty who placed 3rd in a HUGE Intermediate class of 32 bitches!! (pictured below)

<h2><strong>*TINA wins “BEST PUPPY IN SHOW”*
‘Skokloster’ Summer Show Lövudden 2009</strong></h2>
<a href=”http://www.arwen.it/flash5.htm”>’Arwen’</a> has been a long-time favourite of ours and is currently being loved and exhibited by Stefan Råghammar of <strong><a href=”http://whippet.se/”>kennel Adagio</a></strong> in Sweden, having accompanied her daughter <a href=”http://whippet.se/html/today/tina/tina.html”><strong>TINA – Rivarco Tiramisù per Adagio</strong></a> to her new home with Stefan, her father ‘Robbie’ (& mum ‘Arwen’ for a while) as well as team ADAGIO!
‘Tina’ won <strong>”BEST PUPPY IN SHOW” </strong>at the annual ‘Skokloster Summer Show’ held by the Swedish Sighthound Association (SvVK/ö) 27th Aug in Lövudden. Congratulations once again to all concerned and many thanks to Morgan Slätt for the wonderful pictures!
